What would yours be?

Wednesday night is my favorite TV night. On Wednesdays there's Criminal Minds, Lost, Law and Order, CSI NY, and. . . . . Top Chef. I LOVE Top Chef. It makes me want to go to culinary school. Mostly it just makes me really hungry.

Yesterday they had their show based on "the last meal." They had world famous chefs come in saying what their ideal meal would be if that was their last meal on earth. The chefs up for competition then made it for them.

The point??? Well this got me to thinking. . . what would mine be? Bo says his would be tacos. OF COURSE it would be tacos.

Mine? After much thought (actually not that much 'cause I know what I like) I have decided mine would be corn on the cob, not just your regular store bought corn but fresh from the field Baker corn on the cob (we raised the best corn growing up), garlic mashed potatoes, and a nice thick well flavored steak. OH BABY!!!

So my friends, I ask you, what would yours be??

Not sure on the dinner part, but the dessert would be a white chocolate macadamia nut pizookie from BJ's restaurant for dessert. mmmmm

Mmmm.. Good choice Cassidy. Every year my grandpa would make steak at our annual beach vacation.. So I would have that, but my grandpa would have to cook it. Or if he couldn't, I'd take the kind with the little bacons around it.

I commented on your blog quite a while back and don't know if you recognized me. Used to be Kim Langshaw, now I'm a Redford. I am not stalking you or anything but I do blog hop and read yours once in awhile. I LOVE Top Chef so thought I would leave my input. I would choose Ham with my Grandmas homemade applesauce, my moms twice baked potatoes, french bread, Grape pop, and a maple bar for dessert! Love them things!!

I'm with you, other than leave out the garlic in the potatoes. Of course, I'd be glad to eat my next to last supper with Bo and his tacos, too.

mmmm. I've been thinking about this for the last couple days and I guess I'm grateful that I probably won't know when my last dinner will actually be my last dinner- because that's too tough of a decision to make. Maybe an assortment of all my favorite cereals. Or volcano pancakes. Or delicious fettucine alfredo with homemade noodles, and some corn on the cob on the side. Definitely some restaurant loaf of bread that you dip in oil and spices. See? Too indecisive. If I knew I was dying I'd probably skip most of the main couse and go straight to dessert though.

Cafe rio pork barbacoa burrito, no substitutions. I'd eat half to save room.

On the side twice baked potatoes.

Homemade buttersquash soup.

Also, as if I actually would have room for more, some freshly baked bakery item from Panera.

Dessert-- homemade chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich. And choc dipped strawberries.
Can you tell Im 34 weeks pregnant...
