Florida, Day FOUR

We spent our last day in Florida at Universal Studios again.   We saw a bunch of characters that day.  Some just out in the park, and some from the Character breakfast that we got tickets to.  The kids were thrilled every time.  I think my favorite character picture was the one with the pharaoh guy on stilts with Carter.  Carter and I had gone to ride on The Mummy ride, way cool by the way, and afterwards this guy just came up to us and motioned for me to take a pic with him and Carter.  Uhhhh, okay.....  He never spoke.  The shrunken head from the Harry Potter bus was funny.  The driver would talk to Carter, and then the shrunken head, in a Jamaican accent would start talking and joking with Carter too.  FUN!
I took pictures of Whit's family on the Woody Woodpecker ride.  Just swap their heads out and imagine ours, because we went on that ride a jazillion times.  True story.  The kids loved that ride and it's line was short.
Bo took Meg and Derrick around for a bit in the little kid area and Carter and I rushed back to Diagon Alley one last time, which was when we went on The Mummy and saw the HP bus.  In the picture of Carter in front of Sirius Black's home, note the curtain pushed aside.  At that moment, Kretcher, the House Elf, was just about to peek out the window, which totally freaked me out!  Ha!
We ended the day with the kids pretending to ride the waves, while Bridget and I went and used up the rest of our meal plan money on Cinnabon and Chocolate milks for the gang.
WHEW!!  What a trip.  SO FUN.  It was great to finally go to Orlando, and to be able to spend it with family was even better!!

Florida, Day THREE

Day Three in Florida was spent at Universal Studios.  We spent most of the time in Diagon Alley, which was by far my most favorite place of the whole trip.  It was so detailed and COOL.  We enjoyed more butter beer, ate at The Leaky Cauldron, rode the ride through Gringotts Bank, and the kids had fun with their wands, testing out all their new spells. We also went and saw other parts of the park, like the Simpsons section.  The kids loved the Simpsons ride.  Whit, Eli, Carter and I went on the Men In Black ride.  Whit got the most points for shooting the most aliens, but I came in a close second.  Those aliens didn't stand a chance!!
It was a great day

Florida, Day Two. Disney World!

Day Two was The Magic Kingdom of Disney World.
Disney World was a blast, but man, was it crowded!!
We went on Space Mountain first, before the ride wait time got too long.  While on the ride, Bridget and Carla scored lots of extra express passes, which really came in handy through out the day.
We went on Thunder Mountain, The Jungle Cruse, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted House, It's a Small World, the Car Track, and saw bits and pieces of parades too.  Towards the end of the day, there were a few fast passes still available, so the boys took off to go on some more big kid rides, while Bridget, Carla and their girls went to see princess, and I took Megs and Derrick (both said they didn't want to see the princesses) to go ride the tea cups a couple of times and to ride on the Dumbo ride.
We all met up at the end to go meet Mickey.  I need to find those pictures....
It was fun.  Tiring, but so much fun.
