some long awaited pictures!

Pictures!!! The part that people really want to see when they come to look at postings!! Here are some pictures of the trip so far. I just want to add that I am horrible at remembering to take pictures, so there aren't that many.

I love this picture because of Carter dancing in the background. These first three pictures are us at my brother's in Seattle.

Ivie, my niece, pushing Meg around at my brother's house

At the time I took this picture, Meg was trying to figure out how to crawl, but kept falling instead. I put her in the basket to kind of keep her in one place. Carter and Ivie decided to have a little fun with her in the basket, making sure to pack her with pillows and stuffed animals among other things. . .

Terra and Jordan, Bo's sister and her husband. Terra is 6 mo. preggo.

Megan and Aunt Michelle, another sister to Bo

Megan and Me. These pictures with all of Bo's family were taken in Othello at Bo's grandma's.

These are Bo's cousins and brother. I love that Carter is trying to play with the big boys.
Megan and Carter LOVE the swing!

Carter and Rylnn, Bo's cousin . They were having so much fun together. I even caught them hugging.

Here's Carter helping us garden at my parents home. He's standing at the back of the garden.

I love this card that Carter made me in Nursery.

Aren't my flowers beautiful?? Thanks honey!

My brother and his wife bought a pinata a couple days after cinco de mayo (it's never to late!) and let the kids try their hardest to get the candy out. That was one hard pinata! It took John, my sis-in-law's brother quite a few swings to finally break it.

My brother Ivin is the one in the red pajamas pants.

My niece, Rebekah. Isn't she darling? I think she looks just like Ivin, my brother.

I'm Amazing!

So I just ran a a 5k in my town's "fun run." Yep. Me. I did. And guess what? I wasn't LAST!!! In fact, I finished 88th out of 260 people. That's right friends. Not only that, but I ran it in 32 min. and 20 seconds. That's about 10 min. a mile!! Boo yah!! Maybe that's not impressive to you, but let me just say I haven't run since CHRISTMAS, and even then it was only for a few days.
I rock.
That's right.

I would just like to say thanks to John Richardson who ran that baby with me. I was supposed to walk it with my mom and Meg, but my mom bailed out on me and Meg was still sleeping. John was going to run it anyways, so I just decided to run with him instead of walking. So run I did. In my Kanga Roo's. Not even running shoes. I have a blister on my foot now. Who cares. I'm awesome.

Can you tell how proud I am???

In a side note, good job Libby, David, and Christina. They ran the 10K. Mad props. Maybe some day I'll do that too. Maybe not. haha. At least not in my Roo's.

I swept and then mopped BY HAND today. Was feeling pretty darn good about it too.

Then I had to go drop a bowl full of spaghetti AND sauce.

Things could be worse. . .

With Bo being away from me these past two weeks, I've been doing a lot of grunt work. I CANNOT wait for him to come to WA on Tuesday.
With that being said, I've had a few reality shots while away and have gratefully come to the conclusion that things could be worse.
Intead of healthy kids, they could be sick.
Instead of Meg waking up once or twice in the night, she could be awake all night.
Instead of an injured shoulder, I could be missing an arm.
Instead of wishing my husband were here helping. he could not exist, or not be helpful.
You get the point.
It's amazing how this has helped change my perspective on some things.

PS--Bo sent me FLOWERS!!!!! He LOVES me!!!!! How sweet is he? What a honey. See? Things definetly aren't as bad as they could be.

I am alive

So in case anyone was wondering if I am still alive, don't worry, all is well.
The plane ride to Washington actually went pretty well. There were empty seats on the plane so I was lucky enough to get to take Meg's car seat on and just have her in it the whole time. That made the trip.
When we first arrived in Washington, we did a little shopping, stopped by Moses Lake to let Carter ride the tractor with Grandpa Baker (neither Carter or my dad would have forgiven me if this seemingly minor activity had been skipped), and then took off to Othello to spend the next 6 days with Bo's side of the family.
We had some great fun in Othello. Three of Bo's siblings were there so I was able to get a ton of help. We ate out, went to soccer games (Go Bow-win (Dallin according to Carter)), and went to Wolverine (very good), and just laid back and laughed. So fun.
Sunday evening, May 3rd, I packed the kids up and headed to Seattle to visit my brother and his family. My friends from Galveston were coming to Seattle and I needed to be there by Monday to hang out with them! Oh it was so fun to see Ben and Jana.
I'm still in Seattle. We're having yet another good time! Ivin and Christina, my brother and sis. in law, have two little girls, Ivie and Rebekah. Ivie is 4 mo. older then Carter and Rebekah is about 9 mo. older then Meg. They all are getting along surprisingly well. The kids are wearing each other out, and even though life is fun and I have my family's help, I'm still realizing that I NEED Bo's help. Not much can replace a best friend and Father. We are surviving though.
So that's the trip so far. I'd post pics but this isn't my computer and I don't have the tools to put my one picture on (I'm terrible at taking pictures).
Bo flies to WA on Tuesday and then I'll be able to post pics!
