Megan turned one yesterday. My baby is a year! I've been DREADING that day. I know I shouldn't, but I just can't believe she's already a year old! Man time flies! I just want to hold on to my baby!! No, I'm glad she's growing up.
We actually celebrated her birthday on Monday since Bo was on-call during yesterday. It was really fun and simple. We had my cousing Jackie and her family over for dinner, presents, and Rock Band (what's a party without Rock Band???). I love having family near us!
Megan got some dolls, clothes, a purse, and some bath toys. It really was simple. We didn't go overboard because really she's content with Carter's toys. Watching her with the dolls was hilarious. You could tell she didn't quite know what to do with them. I did catch her kissing one yesterday though.
Megan has been such a joy to our lives. She is so funny. She has a mind of her own. She has always been an independant thing. We really have enjoyed our time with her. We love you Meg!!!

The kids were wanting in on some of the action, so they got to use some pots as drums. They were so loud! You couldn't even hear the TV

oh my goodness, I can't believe she is a year old! I knew it was coming up, that is just so crazy! She is SOO adorable! Looks like she had a lot of fun! I wish I was there to celebrate! Maybe I'll talk Jordon into letting me come visit! :)

P.S. I think the cake looks fantastic, it was made with love and that is all that matters!! (but that is also coming from a non cake decorator herself)!
I can't believe she's a year and I still haven't squeezed those chubby cheeks!! *sob* They have cheap airfare right now and i will totally pay you to babysit... :-)
