When my parents were here, one of the must do things that we did was go to the Houston Livestock Show. We love this time of year and being able to go to it!! So much fun. We ate good food, petted and saw lots of animals, and just enjoyed some relaxing fun.
Unfortunately Carter wasn't the most well mannered kid that day. He actually was quite the stinker. He was just not listening to us at all and was whiney and trying to run away and everything else. He was just sooo exhausted from sleeping in a different room at different times and so on while my parents were here . . . . . . .. I need excuses to his behavior because I really don't want to think that I'm raising a child that is like this all the time, and that he's going to keep being like this. . . . so he was naughty because he was exhausted. yep. that's my story. and his if he knows whats good for him. :)
Most of the pictures from the day are of him at the petting zoo. That was fun. A stupid deer kept trying to eat my shirt. Really. It must have thought my green shirt was grass???? It was fun though.

Carter looks so good in that red hat! I LOVE IT!
When did you get that super sweet double stroller? Do you like it?
I thought that one of your dad and Carter in the barrel was real.. only for like a split-second.. but it got me!! ;)
Dang, I miss that rodeo. The Livestock show was a #1 highlight of living in Texas. Here's the yummy link to that recipe blog I'm obsessed with. smittenkitchen.com

Those pictures are priceless!
How fun! The pictures were cute. Carter looked like he was in his element and never wanted to leave. The first pic of him in the red barrel freaked me out! I was thinking "holy cow, that bull behind him is going to plow them over!" But then saw it again in the 2nd pic and realized it was a photo behind them! Talk about freaking a pregnant lady out! ;) ha ha ha! Have a good weekend!
Cute pictures! I love the ones in the rodeo barrell and Carter with his cowboy hat on. Looks like it was a lot of fun!
The pink hat on sumo baby! Ahh! It's adorable. Cass, let me just say that you are NOT raising a horrible child. I can attest to that. I was his teacher in church and when I told him to fold his arms he KEPT them folded the REST of the time. It was over an hour. My first graders won't even do that! Carter is a good kid, trust me.
