I'm so annoyed! I just typed up this nice long good blog, and I accidently deleted it all!!! DAH!!!!!! So, to sum up, I've been busy with moving, and along with that, Whitney graduated from medical school, my parents came to visit, and I threw Bridget a baby shower, complete with a fire alarm and everything!
Whitney's graduation was fun! It's exciting to know that Bo will be doing the same thing in 4 years. Kinda sad it will take 4 years, but at least it's going to happen! It was fun having my parents here. Busy, but fun. I threw a baby shower for my sister in law while they were here so that my mom could attend. It was a hit. As mentioned, there were even sound effects, thanks to a little kid who offered to press the fire alarm button. Everyone assures me that thanks to the alarm, nobody will forget it. Comforting, right?
We are officially leaving tomorrow for Hershey, Penn. We are excited. Wish us luck with Carter. Traveling 20 hours in a car with a 1 year old is bound to be interesting, to say the least. I hope to keep the blog updated on the trip so that you all can see the many adventures we hope to have. Have a good Memorial Day weekend!!
Oh yeah, Bo's last day of work is tomorrow. Summer of fun, here we come!!!!

Teeth
Bridget, my sister-in-law, has this rocking horse, and Carter absolutely LOVES it! We borrowed the cowboy hat and some boots from my friend to take some cute pictures. I think he looks so cute! He hates hats, so this is the only picture that would turn out with him smiling AND the hat on (okay. . . kinda smiling). It was only later I realized he didn't have the boots on. Oh well. You can't win them all. :)
So I went to the dentist, and the dentist took an x-ray of my teeth again (I had gone back in Feb. for the same problem), and he told me, again, that he couldn't see anything wrong. He thinks it could be the nerve, but he doesn't want to go drilling, if it's not. He told me to wait it out. He said that it could just be my sinuses, or that I had food stuck in my gums. Who knows. I'm glad that I don't need a root canal, but at the same time. . . I don't know. I guess I'm frustrated, because does this mean every time that tooth hurts, and I mean it HURTS, that it's just a fluke? What if later something really does go wrong? I'll probably just keeping toughing it out, and not go to the dentist. I don't know. So that's the update on that.
I was wrong about Carter's teeth. He ended up having 4 molars come in in 3 weeks! Not only that, but another front tooth on the bottom broke through, and it looks like a couple others are coming up too. I guess if you're going to go through the pain of having one come up, why not 6? Get them all done at once. Still . . he's been biting and chewing everything. The other day he chewed his book's binding and was halfway through it's page before I caught him, and this was a a thick cardboard page book. It was kinda funny. There were bits of chewed up paper all over his face.
We're all moved in with Whitney. It's been fun. We watch movies at night and have snacks and talk. It's been great. I'm getting sad though, I only have 3 weeks left here, and I have some really good friends that I don't want to leave. I just have to keep reminding myself I'll make new ones wherever I am next, but really, it's tiring. I like meeting new people, don't get me wrong, but that still doesn't stop me from missing the old ones. We have high hopes of visiting them often though, and vice versa. Well that's all. I'm sorry these are so long. I need to get into the habit of writing more often then once a week. It just goes to show how much of a procrastinator I am, but you all know that too. :)
