We are really blessed to have Bo be in medical school down here at UTMB in Galveston, TX. This program has been GREAT for him, and we really feel like this is where we were supposed to be.
That being said. . . I miss living so far away from family. Who knows where we'll end up eventually (after residency), but hopefully it's close to our families, who are mostly in the Northwest.
I guess it's the upcoming holiday season that has me missing them? Or possibly the 2 month long trip I had a few weeks ago. I don't know, but I sure do miss them.

I miss you more!!! Bring back my cute niece & nephew!!! :)
Okay! I can't wait to find out what you are having! How fun. I just got home from seeing my family and I know what you mean. It would be nice to be closer.
yeah.. I've been taking a lot of small trips lately to see my family and it is never long enough.. but I'm glad we get to live close to each other!
Totally hear you on that. I called my mom last week and told her she had to come visit me while I'm only 1.5 hr plane ride away, b/c soon it'll be a lot farther! After Rhode Island, I hope we move by some fam.
And we miss you TOO!!!!
I know how you feel. Even though we live close to Chad's family, which is a huge blessing, I miss my family a lot. I think having a baby only makes the homesickness worse. I hope it works out that you can be near your families when Bo graduates =-)
I miss you too!!! A lot actually. I made homemade bread torn up with honey and milk on top of it for dinner tonight; it reminds me of home and of fall. I love you!
