I am not a fan of hurricanes. Not. At. All.
This meeting reminded me that we are starting another hurricane season.
Thankfully, this is going to be our LAST one. Unless, of course, we're sent somewhere for Residency that has them. If Bo knows whats good for him, however, that won't be happening.
I'm anxious. I know, I know, what are the odds that we're going to get hit by another hurricane??? Extremely slim. BUT they say that this is going to be a pretty busy season for hurricanes. And it is the last days.
One more summer, one more summer. Thats all there is left for me. One more summer. Repeated a million times.
And whenever I need comforting, I just tell myself that at least I'm not pregnant or with a NEWBORN this time around. I can handle it.

Oh Cass, I can't imagine what a horrible sensation you must be feeling. I'll have you in our prayers. Let hope this summer goes fast for you guys.
I feel for you. I know they would make me extremely nervous. I hope you don't have to witness another one in your life.
Ugh! I hear ya... we're happy to be out of the path of hurricanes. I called your cell, and left you a message. I don't have your home number anymore since you moved, so you'll have to call me.
Last year was so crazy for you guys! With the baby and everything! I hope this year is kind to you!
Two more summers, Two more summers ... :)
But the closer you get to leaving Galveston mean the closer you are to leaving me :( :( :(
I hope you knocked on wood!
Yeah, I can definitely feel the anxiety settling in! Gotta get that renters insurance!
One more summer, one more fall, one more winter... but when you get ready to leave, you'll find a little bit of you stays behind here where you were challenged and triumphed and your family grew.
I challenge you to find a part of the country where there are no hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, earthquakes or tsunamis. Oh wait...that would be SOUTHERN IDAHO. Guess we'll be seeing you in a year!
