As mentioned in a past post, my sister in law, Bridget, and her kids are staying at her mom's in Sugarland for the months of April and May. We decided to meet up at the zoo on Thursday to hang out for awhile. We didn't put two and two together and realize that it was ALSO Earth Day and that the zoo would be PACKED with elementary schools. Yeah. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a crowd.
It was still lots of fun though. Carter was cranky, but then he hasn't been getting good sleep lately. Carter and Eli are good buddies, and they had fun hanging out. Bridget and I both thought it was great (sarcastic) that we go to the zoo and the kids favorite thing to do was play on the toys. No, they loved the animals too, but let's be honest, at their age, a slide can pretty much do the trick.
Crowds or not, we still had a good time. Thanks Carla, Bridget and kids for hanging out with us!!! We love you guys!

Carla was Carter and Eli's buddy. They were constantly walking around holding her hand.
That look on Carter's face pretty much sums up his attitude for the day. He woke up cranky. . .never a good sign.The whole gang! Minus Carla, the picture taker.
