I thought about putting in the recipe in the last post. Looks like I should have. So, for those of you interested, here you go:
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 c. Whole Wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. quick cook oats
3/4 c. choc. chips
Preheat oven to 350. Beat butter and sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla. In a med. bowl stir together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Stir flour mixture into sugar mixture until well combined. Stir in oats, then choc. chips. Roll inot balls and put on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 10 - 12 min. Makes about 30 cookies.
Notes: I flattened the cookies a little after rolling them in the balls. And the cinnamon is so yummy in this.

Thank you! Thank you!
I think these qualify as granola bars. Breakfast food indeed.
